Iranian director and editor win awards at Chicago Film Festival with film about Molavi, great Iranian poet

Parstoday- Young Iranians won Best Director and Best Editing at the Chicago International Film Festival

Ramin Hosseinpour, Iranian director, writer and producer of the short film “Sculpture”, won the Best Director Award at the Crown Point International Film Festival (CPIFF). “Ehsan Vaghti” also won the Best Editing Award for this film.

According to Parstoday, this festival, which has completed its 45th edition, will award a cash prize and a trophy (trophy, i.e. Zafar award) to the winner of the year in the annual screening, which will be held in three months, and the winning films will be screened on cinema screens for a week in the city of Chicago.

The Iranian short documentary film “Sculpture” tells the biography of the famous Iranian poet Jalal al-Din Muḥammad Rumi called Mowlana or Molavi (1207-1273 AD) and Shams Tabrizi, one of the famous Iranian mystics (1185-1247 AD).

Iranian composer Hosseinpour wins at LA Sun Film Festival

Ramin Hosseinpour, the writer, director, and composer of the video art ‘Sculpture,’ was honored with the Best Composer Award at the 26th edition of the LA Sun Film Festival in April 2024.
The festival aims to provide an international platform for independent filmmakers and support their work, ISNA wrote.
The video is listed among the top 50 selected documentaries on IMDb in 2023-2024, showcasing its international acclaim. Media outlets globally have recognized Hosseinpour as a multi-talented artist with numerous talents.
‘Sculpture,’ has also won awards for Best Animated Animation at a festival in Russia, Best Short Documentary and Experimental Film at a festival in New Jersey, Best Documentary Screenplay at a festival in Tottenham, and the Best Directorial Award in London. Furthermore, it was recognized as the Best Mixed Media Video at the Berlin Art Festival.
‘Sculpture’ was produced in 2021 with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance’s
Music Office.
Hosseinpour was responsible for the composition, arrangement, vocals, and electric guitar performance.
Hosseinpour, educated in architecture, music, and cinema, has left his mark as a designer, educator, writer, poet, composer, arranger, and performer in the fields of architecture and music. Russia.
The closing ceremony took
place at the historic and cultural venue, Kazanskaya St.

Video art of sculpture is the real life story of Rumi (Mevlana) and Shams Tabrizi. Rumi and Shams are well known international poets of Persian language. One day, Rumi invites Shams Tabrizi to his house, Shams throws the book Of Mevlana into the pool of water and Rumi is worried and Shams returns the book to Rumi without any trace of water.
The lost half of the sculpture in the film is a representation of the same concept, in which the dance of Sama, the sculptor’s mind and the role of the face are visible.

Iran’s video art producer honored in LA

TEHRAN, Feb. 13 (MNA) – A piece of video art produced by Iran’s Ramin Hosseinpour has been honored in Los Angeles.

A diploma went to the artwork of the Iranian artist in the artistic event held in the US.

Ramin Hosseinpour’s video art has been awarded at different other international festivals.

Hosseinpour was the music video director, producer, composer, arranger, and electric guitar player.

Earlier, Hosseinpour was chosen as the Best Male Vocalist at the LA Music Video Awards 2022 for his video art of Sculpture.

تهران- ایرنا- ویدیوآرت «صورتگر» به کارگردانی رامین حسین‌پور نشان افتخار بهترین موزیک ویدیوی راک جوایز موزیک ویدیوی مونیخ آلمان و جایزه بهترین فیلم موزیسین جوایز موسیقی اروپا در اسلواکی را از آن خود کرد.

به گزارش ایرنا از مشاور رسانه‌ای پروژه، ویدیوآرت «صورتگر» به نویسندگی، کارگردانی، ایده‌پردازی و تهیه‌کنندگی رامین حسین‌پور و با شعری از مولانا نشان افتخار بهترین موزیک ویدیوی راک از «جوایز موزیک ویدیوی مونیخ آلمان» و جایزه بهترینِ فیلم یک آهنگساز از «جوایز موسیقی اروپا» را دریافت کرد.

جوایز موزیک ویدیوی مونیخ آلمان ۲۴ فروردین تا ۲۴ اردیبهشت ماه (۱۵ آوریل تا ۱۵ می) و جوایز موسیقی اروپا ۱۱ تا ۲۴ اردیبهشت ماه (۲۸ آوریل تا ۱۵ می) در اسلواکی برگزار شد.

جوایز موسیقی اروپا تمام ژانرهای مرتبط به موزیک ویدیوها از جمله موسیقی، ویدیو آرت، کارگردانی و… را شامل می‌شود. در این رویداد بین‌المللی گروهی از نوازندگان، فیلمسازان و مدیران باتجربه هیات داوران را تشکیل می‌دهند. همچنین در بازه زمانی یک ماهه اسامی برندگان در هر بخش مشخص و منتشر می‌شود. جایزه اصلی (جام) نیز در پایان سال میلادی به‌صورت حضوری اهدا می‌شود.

همچنین جوایز موزیک ویدیوی مونیخ آلمان هر ۲ ماه یکبار برگزار و در آن، آثار توسط هیات داوران ارزیابی و دیپلم افتخار و جام قهرمانی برای برندگان در نظر گرفته می‌شود. همچنین دیدار حضوری در پایان سال میلادی اتفاق می‌افتد.

«صورتگر» تاکنون در بیش از ۳۰ فستیوال بین‌المللی حضور داشته که در ۲۵ فستیوال به عنوان فینالیست با دیگر آثار به رقابت پرداخته است.

همچنین این ویدیوآرت تاکنون افتخاراتی کسب کرده است که از آن جمله می‌توان به جایزه بهترین موزیک ویدیو در فستیوال بین‌المللی مستقل ونکوور کانادا، جایزه بهترین سولو آرتیست در فستیوال بین‌المللی موزیک ویدیوی آندرگراند (زیرزمینی) پاریس فرانسه، جایزه بهترین جلوه‌های ویژه موزیک ویدیو اواردز پراگ چک، تقدیر ویژه هیات داوران و راهیابی به بخش نهایی بهترین موزیک ویدیو اواردز لندن انگلستان، جایزه بهترین موزیک ویدیو در فستیوال بین‌المللی آرت بلاکس مسکو و جایزه بهترین موزیک ویدیو، مستند، نویسندگی و کارگردان مرد موزیک ویدیو اواردز رم ایتالیا اشاره کرد.

عنوان شاعر، آهنگساز، تنظیم‌کننده و نوازنده شناخته می‌شود. وی همچنین در حوزه سینما نیز به عنوان نویسنده، کارگردان، تهیه‌کننده و همچنین کانسپتچوال آرتیست مشغول به کار است.

حسین‌پور سال ۹۴ با تلفیق هنر معماری، موسیقی و سینما ۲ اثر با نام‌های «غنیمت» و «اشتیاق» تولید کرد که در فستیوال‌های بین‌المللی به عنوان فینالیست حضور پیدا کرده‌اند.
